When I took Home Ec I never believed for a second I would ever learn how to cook or bake. I really thought some people had this skill and others did not. Now it has taken me a super long time to get passed that story and actually TEACH myself those skills in the kitchen, so it is possible. That story about me and food was not actually true.
Today on my personal site I write about the importance of changing our internal dialogue about our lives, even if it terrifies us. Hopefully some truths are only the truth for so long. It takes a lot of bravery to question our reality but I am not one to shy away from doing what must be done.
