Wreck This Journal: Week 3

June 19, 2009 by Suzie the Foodie 22 Comments

Wreck This Journal

My journal got out and about this week! You are supposed to take it everywhere so I did. First it went to the grocery store.

Wreck This Journal

Then it came with me to the hospital.

Then it came with me on my walk where I kicked it down the street in the rain.
Wreck This Journal
I dripped ketchup on it at a diner.

My friends went crazy with it at the diner.
It is finally starting to feel like it is getting REALLY wrecked. Still so much carnage to do though!

Wow, what fun!!! You’re really getting up to some creative wreckage. I loved the videos. The kick down the street in the rain made me laugh! And yay to inviting the creative energy of your friends out to play!

Okay how much fun is this? Your friends went to town on the journal! The way they are holding the markers and just scribbling all over the pages made me laugh with glee! I bet they haven’t done that since elementary school! 🙂

The kicking it down the street is hilarious. The one thing that keeps coming to mind when I saw your friends join in on the wreckage was my mother, teachers, etc always telling us to never write in your books. Wow, I think this Journal should be brought to the school’s art programs!~

I love the idea of “Wreck this Journal” Very freeing but also, what will stay with you are the memories of how you wrecked each page and what fun it was:)

OMG, your second video just cracked me up! What an inspiration. Love how you carried it with you all week, too.

I just joined WTJ this week, finding its a lot harder than I thought it would be, since I’m so OCD about my books/journals.
