I love it when you post the freebies that restaurants are having like Starbucks, buy one get one free etc.

Food product and restaurant reviews. Are the thing for me. After you tried those inferno doritos, i had to seek them out and so far no other nacho chip holds a flame to them.

I love all the thorough recipes you post. I’ve never had one turn out bad and the photos make everything clear and easy to understand. I also like that it’s easy to find the recipe without slogging through a lot of prose, which while nice sometimes, can be annoying when you just want that soup recipe.

Wow… picking one favorite part? I love the new products, recipes, reviews of restaurants (keeping tabs for when I get out to Toronto sometime hopefully soon) and the rants. Yours is one of the few blogs that I read regularly.

    Happy Anniversary!

It’s hard to pick out my favourite bits of your blog. I enjoy the recipes very much, and the product and restaurant reviews are always good and try to be as fair, honest, and well-reasoned out as possible. I enjoy reading about your journey, both personal and culinary – you are always curious, always doggedly working to expand your food and cookery knowledge and skills (and share them!), in spite of personal challenges. I enjoy reading about the oops moments and the successes, the cooking classes, and about trending foods. Martha is great when I’m in my imaginary stately country home, but Suzie is real.

O Suzie–it’s YOU that I love–the real, raggedy, wonderful, emotional, strong, silly, intelligent, creative, struggling, triumphing YOU! I love the experiments and the recipes–you are so thoughtful and careful in your instructions and don’t assume I’m a chef or some high-toned food snob. CONGRATULATIONS on ten years of SHOWING UP and SHARING with us–even when it’s hard and life sucks and you’re feelin’ poorly. You have such a beautiful SOUL and it radiates all the way to Tucson, Arizona!
