My birthday foodie t-shirt came very quickly to my house! Buying it was easy and I loved that I could use Paypal as an option. I got all sorts of confirmations about where the package was in the mail so Wordans has gone to extreme measures to make sure that items bought at their store get to their customers.
So how did I like the shirt? I had mixed reactions to it. First, I wanted it to be clearer. Perhaps a photograph with sprinkled icing sugar on it was not the ideal choice but I did want to test how the photo would look.
You probably can not tell from the photo but the white is not truly white and in fact had a blue tone to it which in the context really did not work for me. The image is quite grainy.
The text, on the other hand, is perfectly clear and worked great. Most of the shirts at Wordans are text-oriented. Perhaps printing photographs onto t-shirts is just not a good idea?
Reg loved the shirt and thought I was crazy. I can’t help it. I am very particular and considering with shipping this shirt was over $30, I personally do not think it is good enough. I would love to hear your opinion though. Am I being too harsh? Would you buy it for that much? Is this what you expected?
If you do not want to leave a comment, you can vote in my poll on the right. Your feedback is really important to me. At this point, I am seriously abandoning the idea of selling my own t-shirts. I do not want to disappoint anybody.

For what it’s worth, I love it!!

White is a very hard color to transfer in that large of a quantity. The material makes it difficult or it would feel like plate (pun intended) armor over your chest. Frankly, it looks pretty terrific. Good job!

I actually really like how it looks! But, I won’t buy a T-shirt simply because they don’t work for me most of the time. (Don’t fit right, etc.)

Thank you so much for your feedback, it is so important to me! It’s looking like people feel very yay or nay about it. Stacy, it’s true, good point. The shirt itself is very comfortable and I have been enjoying wearing it. It’s hard when something is what you expect though, at least for me. Tammy, t-shirts are not the most flattering thing to wear but I like wearing it in the kitchen where if something explodes on me, at least it happened on a foodie shirt.
Thanks everyone and please, feel free to be honest and leave more comments! I’m really stuck as to what to do and your words help.

For cooking I use an exploded color tie dye. No problems with stains, they just blend right in. lol

Overall I think the shirt is fantastic, the caption and photo are awesome. I guess what happens though when a photo is enlarged/blown up to fit another “frame” so to speak, it will lose some clarity and colour crispness in the process, and I think that’s what you’re seeing. I imagine using a photo is a bit of a trickier process than say putting a “cartoon” type picture on fabric. I think Wordans did a great job.

It’s hard to say without seeing it “in person” but the photo looks good enough to me on your photos of the t-shirt. I would buy one to wear at Halloween.

I like it … Excellent for Valentine’s Day and any time there is a (oh should I admit this?) A client who whines their ass off abt having no $$ for food despite stinking of booze, ciggies and pot!
