New Year Kitchen Confession #4: I Ate The Damn Moon Cheese

New Year Kitchen Confession #4: I Ate The Damn Moon Cheese

When I heard about Moon Cheese, I had to try it. I wrote the company and they sent me their Pepperjack Moon Cheese.

I was so excited Reg and I got dressed up and did a video of our first taste of the product live on camera.

Which including spontaneous space flight off camera. So much fun!

Since then I received their Gouda and Cheddar Moon Cheese. All holidays I waited until we were in a fun spontaneous mood to shoot another taste test. Yeah, that never happened.

So the other day, I just ate the damn Moon Cheese  It had been sitting on my kitchen counter forever and I was hungry and I just tore into it and ate way too much. I started with the cheddar which was a big mistake because it is so strong, I could not taste the Gouda afterwards.

This product is so potent, it is hard to eat a lot of it but I did. I saved some for Reg who said that he was not a fan of the Gouda but the cheddar was good. That is exactly how I felt too.

Reg and I are not actors. When we are on camera, that’s really us.

Reg is actually very good in this video, more of an actor than I am!

OK sometimes we are dressed as zombies, it is true. (If you watch the video you will see, I am definitely NOT an actor!)

Billy Dee Williams' Q&A at Hal-Con 2013

Or we get dressed up as movie characters and hang out with people like Billy Dee Williams but that is just us having fun and being geeks together. It is not something we can fake.

So I gave in and opened the Moon Cheese and devoured it in my kitchen while listening to the radio instead. I was starving, I was tired of seeing products on my counter I had not have time to review yet taking up lots of space.

I can still do the review though since it was fairly easy to pop those in my mouth, crunch down on them and tear them apart. I agree that the Gouda was just too subtle and not very exciting. I can only give it two and a half out of five wooden spoons. The cheddar was so strong and flavourful, I give it four out of five wooden spoons.

I am looking forward to the day Reg and I can put on silly outfits and do video reviews together again. At the moment life is just too damn serious but I promise you, we will be back to our freaky selves as soon as we can. Until then? Fade to black…

You ate the cheese? I tell ya what? I would not have lasted as long as you did. Fun pictures, too.

My self-discipline is kind of legendary (at least in my family) but I could not take it any longer!!!

I can’t resist cheese so you certainly lasted longer than I could. It sure looks like you had a lot of fun while you were snacking!
