Although it was the last item to be revealed to me during my mystery box video, it was exciting to see a product just for me. Red Harissa Hummus Chickpea Dip and Spread “for the flavour seeker”.

That’s me!!! It is the perfect description for me as a foodie and what kind of products I love the most.
Product Review
Red Harissa Hummus Chickpea Dip and Spread is an absolutely impressive product. President’s Choice hummus is my favourite, we buy it all the time. Getting to try a new one with red peppers and Thai chillies was a no brainer.
Right after filming the video I toasted up some bagels, heated up some soup and then Reg and I devoured the entire container of hummus. It was delicious! It tasted like their regular hummus (which, as I said, I love) with just enough red pepper flavour and Thai chilli heat to bring their hummus to a more sophisticated level.
It was not crazy-hot, just enough to give it zing but not enough to slow down the dipping.
The Ingredients: Chickpeas, tahini (sesame seed paste), canola oil, red bell peppers, water, lemon juice, garlic purée (contains citric acid), spices, sea salt, dried parsley, citric acid, thai chili, spice extracts. May contain tree nuts, milk, egg, wheat, soy and mustard.
In their promo President’s Choice recommends the hummus instead of a cheese tray. Which is more economical, healthier and probably just as tasty. You are going to need more than one container though, it will disappear quickly, I promise!
I did feel like a kid to find the present in the mix that was just for me. There is nothing I like more than over-the-top flavour and I think this hummus delivers. It is not too crazy to be intimidating but it is wild enough to be fascinating.
I find nothing wrong with this product and literally, ate it all up. I give Red Harissa Hummus Chickpea Dip and Spread five out of five wooden spoons.
