I went through my culinary books and came up with a foodie bucket list of everything I want to learn how to make. A lot of this list is comprised of things I already know and have blogged about, it is just going to take me a while to track down all the links. No time to waste, I want this list up right now and it will keep changing. There will be more for me to add.
A note about the sauces—if I did go to culinary school that would be my specialty. I am crazy about sauces and feel like I know nothing which is why it gets its own section.
The list is divided up between pastry and cooking. I want to learn EVERYTHING!!!
What would be on your foodie bucket list? I would love to hear what you want to learn how to make.

Good for you, Suzie! I know you can learn all you need to learn at home. After all, at one time you didn’t cook at all and now look at you, Ms Foodie Blogger for 10 years!
I like that new photo of “your editor” on your sidebar too. He looks like an editor not to be messed with — if he says delete a word, delete it!
Suzie the Foodie says
Thanks Debra and you’re right! I have already learned about a third of this list already in the past decade so why not?!
LOL, so glad you like that photo of Reg! I took that portrait shot of him and yes, don’t mess with my editor if you know what’s good for you.
The Happy Whisk (Ivy) says
You for sure can learn in your own kitchen. It’s the best, really, I find.
Wonderful list. Excited to see more posts from you during your new journey.
Suzie the Foodie says
It is amazing how much you can learn at home!
NutkinNB says
Great list! I can’t wait to see what else you add and am blown away by how many sauces there are! haha
Suzie the Foodie says
Thank you so much Nutkin! 🙂 Yes, a crazy amount of sauces, isn’t it? I hope I can do them all!
Shell says
Your list is amazing and delicious. On my list would include apple pie, truffles, ( my truffles always come out not good,) Authentic gumbo, macaroons and truly delicious cheddar biscuits.
Yes, teach yourself. Live your foodie dreams to the max!
Suzie the Foodie says
Wonderful list Shell!!! Ah yes, truffles, I actually wrote a post called The Trouble With Truffles in ode to both Star Trek and the challenges of working with chocolate.
Thank you so much for the support, it means so much to me!
Debra She Who Seeks says
You know what, Suzie? My bucket list is not to MAKE all these things. It’s to EAT all these things. Need a taste tester, LOL?
Suzie the Foodie says
LOL, I want to do BOTH! But any time you want to swing by Vancouver, I would be happy to share.
