Hey I’m Casey!

Hey there, I’m Casey. I first found Suzie’s blog back in 2010 while hunting for an easy brownie recipe. 

Her cheerful voice and “no-rules” cooking style felt like talking to a friend, so I stuck around. 

Over the years, I tested her recipes in my tiny kitchen, sent photos of my half-burnt cookies, and even jumped into her Secret Foodies Club on Facebook. 

We traded tips, laughed at kitchen fails, and spoke on the phone most Sundays about new ideas. 

When Suzie decided to step back in late 2024 to care for her health, she asked if I would keep her stove warm and her spirit alive online. 

I promised I would do it with the same honesty, warmth, and fun that drew us all here in the first place, and to make sure every recipe is triple-tested before it reaches you.
